Skrillex releases new song, “Kliptown Empyrean”

The producer says he’s working on a “main body of work.”

Skrillex has dropped a brand-new track, “Kliptown Empyrean.”

The producer released the song exclusively on SoundCloud and Instagram, noting that he is currently still working on the “main body of work.” The delicate track, which features vocal samples and drum beats, was made and released on the same day, according to Skrillex.

“Still finishing this main body of work but in the mean time,“ he wrote. “I just made this today and wanted to put it out. I also uploaded the whole thing here so you can listen to the full ting.”

“Kliptown Empyrean” is Skrillex’s first solo release since 2019’s “Midnight Hour,” which was later remixed by Four Tet. Last year, he also dropped the songs “Fuji Opener” and “Mumbai Power.”
