Sebastian announces new album with fresh single “Beograd”

A taste of the French producer’s sophomore record, ‘Thirst.’

French producer Sebastian has dropped “Beograd,” the latest single from his forthcoming sophomore album, Thirst.

Sebastian wrote the track in Belgrade, he explained in a statement: “I was inspired by the idea of making a festive clubbing track, somehow empowered by the Slavic intensity.” That same energy fuels the accompanying music video, which was directed by Ed Banger Records’ art director So Me. Set in Serbia, the entrancing clip centers on various dancers and their exaggerated physicality.

“Beograd,” along with “Thirst” and “Run for Me” featuring Gallant, will appear on Sebastian’s next album, Thirst. It arrives eight long years after his debut LP, Total. The producer hasn’t been resting on his laurels, though: In that time, he’s collaborated with Frank Ocean, acted in and composed for movies, and produced the likes of Fall Out Boy and Justice.
