Roosevelt announces ‘Polydans’ album with new song “Feels Right”

It’s his most personal record yet.

German producer Roosevelt has dropped new single “Feels Right” and officially announced his third studio album, Polydans.

The funky, feel-good “Feels Right” joins previously released singles “Echoes” and “Sign” on the new Roosevelt album, which comes just two years after his previous full-length Young Romance.

After touring extensively around the world with a four-piece band in support of that album, Roosevelt—real name Marius Lauber—took time off to take stock and write music independently. As he reflected, the producer revisited his formative listening years and reconnected with his love of dance music. This time alone resulted in Polydans, a ten-track album on which Roosevelt played nearly every instrument.

“It felt incredibly liberating to realize that I’m in a position now to go to the studio everyday and just do the music that feels right,” the musician shared in a statement. “In this respect, Polydans is my most personal album yet, as there hasn’t been any creative limitations—I just did what made me happy.”

Polydans will drop on February 26 via Greco Roman and City Slang. Listen to “Feels Right” here:
