It’s a dancey take on the Gnarls Barkley classic.

Fans of music from the early noughties are going to be pretty happy with this release. Norwegian producer Robin Lynch has recently dropped an uptempo cut of Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 classic, “Crazy,” and he’s teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter Vanessa Amorosi to spice up the track’s iconic vocal arrangement.

The producer—he forms one half of production duo MachoPsycho, and has written hits for the likes of Justin Timberlake—clearly knows how to breathe new life into a track. Her version is upbeat and dancier, but without losing any of the soul that made the original such a hit.

And the addition of Amorosi’s incredible vocals certainly helped, too. (You might remember the Aussie for her inescapable 2000 hit, “Absolutely Everybody.”) Although the singer’s been pretty quiet for the past decade, it looks like this “Crazy” remake could be the start of an epic comeback.
