Dutch house pioneer R3HAB has taken a swing at Katy Perry’s latest single, “Never Really Over.”

R3HAB’s speedy remix removes Perry’s busy choruses in lieu of dream club drops. The pop star’s original version was already quite upbeat, but the producer has managed to give “Never Really Over” an even warmer glow in time for summer sets across the globe.

This remix is R3HAB’s latest in a prolific year. The Dutch producer has released numerous remixes of The Chainsmokers, Pink, Andy Grammer and David Guetta tracks, alongside his own The Wave acoustic EP.

Perry, on the other hand, has been keeping a low profile while working on her next LP. It will follow Witness, which spawned singles “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Swish Swish.”
