Nicky Romero drops new track, “Bittersweet”

He’s joined by Trilane, Kokaholla and Quarterback.

Dutch EDM superstar Nicky Romero has just dropped “Bittersweet,” a progressive house anthem with a pop hook that’s sure to make you sit up and take notice.

He recruited quite the team for the track: Swedish duo Trilane and Canadian artist Kokaholla add their own flair to the production, while Quarterback delivers the vocals that take “Bittersweet” to impressive pop heights.

“Tell me, what can I do? I try my best but I just can’t get over you,” the singer-songwriter sings atop the dreamy production. The music builds and builds before the chorus hits, and Quarterback goes full falsetto when he declares, “I told you to leave / But without you I’m bittersweet.”

After that, it’s time for the drop—and what a drop it is. Romero’s always had a knack for massive, festival-ready tracks, and “Bittersweet” is no exception.
