NGHTMRE, A$AP Ferg lead an uprising in “Redlight” MV

Don’t mess with these bad boys.

Los Angeles-based DJ NGHTMRE and rapper A$AP Ferg have teamed up for the hard-hitting banger, “Redlight.”

The track opens with dramatic horns before booming bass and trap snares kick in. Ferg then jumps on the beat with weighty, rapid-fire verses. “I’m the Lord, I might go Satan / With the flow and take ’em out, annihilate ’em (Yeah) / No mistakin’, new sensation / Hood Pope pullin’ up to rule the nation,” he spits.

In the accompanying video, Ferg and NGHTMRE lead an anarchist group that plot to an uprising against a repressive government. They hide out in an abandoned warehouse while finalizing their plans, performing the song in stylish all-black outfits.

“A$AP Ferg is one of the hip hop icons I’ve always dreamed of working with,” NGHTMRE said in a press release. “It took a lot of time and effort to really make this record come together, but throughout the process, I’ve gained even more respect for Ferg and his vision… It was an honor to be able to create a piece of art with this legend.”
