Mura Masa—aka Alex Crossan—and slowthai have released a video for their new collab, “Deal Wiv it.” The song appears on the former’s forthcoming sophomore album RYC, which stands for Raw Youth Collage.

The clip features slow-motion footage of slowthai running around outside a housing estate, before following Crossan into a moving car. “Walking back through my old estate / I see my mate sat in my mate’s / And they don’t wanna say ‘Safe’ / They say, ‘You’ve changed’ / Fuckin’ deal with it,” slowthai raps.

“Deal Wiv it” is a rock-influenced song, which is a reflection of RYC’s overall sound. “I’m sort of making a guitar album in a way,” Crossan told NME. “There’s a really interesting intersection where it used to be garage bands and now it’s internet bands, and that’s the new DIY. So yeah, I’m kind of going down that way.”

Besides “Deal Wiv it,” RYC will also feature the previously released singles “No Hope Generation” and “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again,” featuring Clairo. The record is due out January 17, 2020 via Polydor/Anchor Point Records.
