Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko team up for “Mistaken”

They had debuted the song at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

Dutch DJ Martin Garrix has linked up with Russian DJ duo Matisse & Sadko for “Mistaken,” which they had debuted at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last weekend.

The uplifting progressive house tune layers vocals from Swedish singer Alex Aris over laser-like synths, strong bass and an epic pre-chorus drop. “And all I say is no / I am not mistaken / This time I am sure / No, I am not mistaken / Whatever it is, I am sure,” he sings.

The song was released alongside a monochromatic video. The black-and-white clip follows the relationship between a man and a woman, who are only shown as silhouettes. The visual also intercuts shots of Aris performing the track.

“Mistaken” is the latest collaboration from Garrix and Matisse & Sadko, who previously worked together on tracks like “Together,” “Forever” and “Dragon.” This is the Dutch hitmaker’s second release of the year, following February’s “No Sleep” with Bonn.
