Marshmello drops brand-new album, ‘Joytime III’

It coincides with the release of his mobile game, ‘Marshmello Music Dance.’

Marshmello has unveiled his third studio album, Joytime III.

Featuring the producer’s signature hard-hitting bangers, the record also demonstrates Mello’s genre-bending versatility. Standouts include the Wiwek-assisted “Angklung Life,” which layers hypnotic angklung percussion over tribal-inspired beats, and the EDM-metalcore hybrid “Rescue Me,” featuring A Day to Remember. The LP also features a slew of collabs with the likes of Slushii, Crankdat and Elohim.

The album was released as part of Mello’s promotion for his new mobile game Marshmello Music Dance. Fans were able stream the album on the game’s app prior to its release on streaming platforms.

Joytime III follows 2018’s Joytime II, and is one of the numerous releases that Mello has put out this year. These include “One Thing Right” featuring country artist Kane Brown, and the CHVRCHES-assisted “Here With Me.”
