Maisie Williams stars in Madeon’s new video for “Miracle”

Directed by fellow ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Lena Headey.

Madeon has dropped a heart-wrenching new music video for his song “Miracle” starring Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams.

Under the direction of fellow GoT cast member Lena Headey, Williams stars in a graphic, albeit beautiful, video about a relationship torn apart by a car crash. The clip focuses on actor James Joyce and his emotional turmoil as he prays for a miracle to bring back his loved one.

In a YouTube comment, Madeon explained the “backstory” of the collaboration: “A few months ago, while I was on tour, Lena Headey reached out about making a video for ‘Miracle’. Maisie Williams quickly joined (they had both met on the set of Game of Thrones). Her vision was so clear, it was very different from the way I’ve illustrated the universe of Good Faith up to that point but that’s what made the idea so fascinating, it’s a different interpretation.”

“Miracle” is the latest track from Madeon’s 2019 album Good Faith to receive a visual treatment. Earlier this month, the French producer enlisted Atlanta rap duo EarthGang to remix the track “No Fear No More.”
