LSD release new song, “Thunderclouds,” ahead of debut album

Another track from Labrinth, Sia and Diplo.

LSD—the collaborative project between Labrinth, Sia and Diplo—have released quite a few tracks to date. But the electronic supergroup aren’t showing any signs of slowing down just yet as they’ve  shared a brand-new track, “Thunderclouds.”

Like their previous songs, this track hears the trio pushing their boundaries as producers/singers and stretches each member in new musical directions. Sia kicks off the vocals on the track as she sings: “All I need is one / One old man is enough / Babe, you gotta / Just turn your fears into trust.”

Labrinth then enters on the chorus. “You’re saying those words like you hate me now,” he croons. “But don’t be afraid of those thunderclouds.”

And beneath their unmistakable vocals is Diplo’s sleek production that mixes surf guitar riffs and horns. It’s light-hearted, moody and mysterious all together, and a great tune from three of pop music’s best.
