Louis the Child—aka Robby Hauldren and Frederic Kennett—have teamed up with Foster the People for a shimmering new collab, “Every Color.”

The song, which the DJ duo co-wrote with Foster the People’s lead singer Mark Foster, blends the pair’s psychedelic electronic sounds with the band’s indie rock roots. “I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive / It’s clearer than it was before / You can hide, you can hide, you can hide / But you don’t see what I do,” Foster sings.

“We started this song about a year ago at [Kennett’s] place where we wrote the hook and created a rough drop,” Louis the Child shared on Instagram. “We went to Mark’s place months later and played him a bunch of ideas we had and he really liked ‘Every Color.’ Mark’s studio is full of old synths and random music toys so we basically spent the whole day playing around with all the gear he had, adding anything that excited us.”
