Jacques Greene has released “Night Service” and “Silencio,” two new songs featuring rapper/poet Cadence Weapon (aka Roland “Rollie” Pemberton). The pair have known each other for years, and last collaborated on two songs from the latter’s 2018 album, Cadence Weapon.

Greene had originally teased “Night Service” in a mysterious YouTube upload last year, and the song promptly became a fan favorite. The track, Pemberton said in a statement, was “inspired by our personal nightlife experiences in Montreal and the enduring history of underground dance music in New York, specifically Larry Levan and Paradise Garage, as he was one of the first DJs to make the connection between religious devotion and club music.”
