Hear Tycho remix music from the game ‘Ghost of Tsushima’

For a remix EP also featuring TOKiMONSTA, The Glitch Mob and Alessandro Cortini.

An EP of remixed music from the forthcoming PlayStation 4 game Ghost of Tsushima has been announced, and Tycho’s remix of “Ghost of Kodoku” is out now.

In Ghost of Tsushima, players control a samurai warrior in feudal-era Japan. Both the game, by developer Sucker Punch, and its soundtrack by composers Ilan Eshkeri and Shigeru Umebayashi will be released on July 17.

While crafting the soothing remix, Tycho said he “had a great time working with some new types of instrumentation and vocal elements.” His take on “Ghost of Kodoku” is one of four tracks on the remix EP, titled Sound of the Storm – Ghost of Tsushima Soundtrack: Reimagined. The three other artists appearing on the release are TOKiMONSTA, The Glitch Mob and Nine Inch Nails’ Alessandro Cortini.

The remix EP will be out this Friday on Milan Records, a Sony imprint focusing on soundtrack releases. Stream Tycho’s contribution here:
