Hear Major Lazer’s collab with Mumford & Sons’ frontman

“Lay Your Head on Me” is a laid-back tropical anthem.

Major Lazer have teamed up with Marcus Mumford, frontman of Mumford & Sons, for “Lay Your Head on Me.”

On the laid-back track, Mumford provides his folksy vocals over Major Lazer’s tropical house production. “And every single scar that you claim / Is a stone in the path to this place / And every single choice that you make / Has led you this way, so lay your head on me,” he sings. The song was co-written by and features background vocals from MØ, who sang on Major Lazer’s 2015 hit, “Lean On.”

“Lay Your Head on Me” is expected to appear on Major Lazer’s forthcoming album, Lazerism, alongside “Can’t Take it From Me” featuring Skip Marley and the Anitta-assisted “Make it Hot.” The record, which is due out later this year, is also reportedly the trio’s last.
