Electronic duo Galantis have released “Faith,” their new collaboration with Dolly Parton and Dutch singer Mr Probz.
A bright, upbeat slice of electronic pop, “Faith” breathes new life into the 1987 track “Have a Little Faith in Me” by John Hiatt. “As soon as I heard [‘Faith’], I thought, ‘Yes! This is a song that the world needs right now,’” Parton told Rolling Stone. “It’s all about uplifting mankind and believing in a higher power. All the things we need in this dark, ol’ dreary world right now.”
The track arrived with a music video that features the country legend as the captain of a Galantis-branded Lyft bus. Parton parks in green pastures, allowing a dance party to break out amongst its young, spirited passengers, including the Dutch DJ duo.
“Faith” is a preview of Galantis’ 2020 album Church, which will be the follow-up to their 2017 sophomore album The Aviary. Watch the video below:
