London producer Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, has released a new EP titled Anna Painting. It’s a collaboration with artist and Hebden’s longtime friend Anna Liber Lewis.

“We worked in tandem from conversation and correspondence,” Hebden explained in a press release. “I made music and Anna responded to it with drawings and paintings, apart from the last track, which I made after having seen her work.” The pair—who are lifelong friends—premiered the music and its accompanying art during an exhibition earlier this year at the Elephant West gallery in London.

Four Tet has been dropping songs throughout 2019, teasing the follow-up to his 2017 album New Energy. Tracks he’s released this year include the Nelly Furtado-sampling “Only Human,” “Teenage Birdsong” and “Dreamer.”
