Each week, we pick the newest electronic music tracks and music videos to have on your radar. Here are our favorites:
Japanese DJ-producer Powder—otherwise known as Momoko “Moko” Goto—has shared Powder in Space, a hypnotizing 75-minute house mix for Tim Sweeney’s radio show, Beats in Space. It features some notable exclusives, including the first official release of Samo DJ & the Hidden Operator’s “Захват Сзади Rox,” and two new songs from Powder herself, “New Tribe” and “Gift.”
Black Coffee’s gorgeous new single “Wish You Were Here,” featuring Msaki, has received an equally stunning visual. The sun-drenched Adriaan Louw-directed clip, shot in the house DJ’s native South Africa, strings together various storylines of lovers and families against the country’s picturesque landscape.
“Space Between,” a collaboration with Canadian songbird Deniz Reno, is the title track of Matt Lange’s upcoming album. The song is a dancefloor-ready house jam that combines Reno’s honey-smooth vocals with spacey synths, atop an infectious bass.
Europa, Diplo’s new EP, is out now. The six-song release features a collab-heavy line-up, which includes Octavian, Niska and IAMDBB.
“Dip Raar,” the EP’s centerpiece, is easily the standout. Sung entirely in Dutch, the slinky reggaeton-influenced number is co-produced by Dutch DJ Ramiks. Former Yellow Claw member Bizzey also appears on the track to deliver confident yet seductive vocals.
