Each week, we pick the newest electronic music tracks and music videos to have on your radar. Here are our favorites this week:
“Lost in the Fire” by Gesaffelstein, The Weeknd
Gesaffelstein and The Weeknd team up once again for a brand-new track, “Lost in the Fire.” The pair previously collaborated on The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy,, which arrived last year. On this sex-driven new song, the R&B star suggests a threesome over a sinister beat.
“Horn of Jericho” by Deadmau5, dronehands
During a recent Twitch livestream, Deadmau5 revealed a surprise collaboration with up-and-coming producer dronehands. Titled “Horn of Jericho,” the track features steely synths and deep bass, a stark comparison to the Canadian DJ’s typical monster-drop production.
Outer Peace by Toro Y Moi
Toro Y Moi (real name Chaz Bundick) has dropped Outer Peace, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Boo Boo. The new album, which draws inspiration from the likes of Daft Punk and Wally Badarou, features ten tracks, including the previously released singles “Freelance” and “Ordinary Pleasure.”
“Token” by Panda Bear
Ahead of his upcoming LP, Buoys, Panda Bear has shared a new single, “Token,” along with its accompanying Dean Blunt-directed visual. The endearing clip, which also stars Blunt as its main character, follows the British artist-producer on trip to the carnival.
“Preach” by Jaycen A’mour, DJ Jenil
Bass hero Jaycen A’mour and DJ Jenil come together for an earth-shattering tune, “Preach.” The bass-heavy number effortlessly combines both their sounds to create a blend of electro goodness.
