DJ Snake releases twisted new single, “Trust Nobody”

DJ Snake has returned with a warped new single, “Trust Nobody.”

The French producer, who is typically known for his hip hop-influenced radio hits like “Taki Taki” and “Loco Contigo,” takes a step in a new direction on his latest offering. He trades bouncy, tribal trap beats for bombastic, Skrillex-inspired EDM that slowly builds into a cacophony of screeches and squeals.

“I can’t trust nobody / I’m from the south side / Like Kebo Gotti / And the whole hit squad / Yeah, shout out to my homies,” a sinister voice declares at the top of the track.

“Trust Nobody” is DJ Snake’s first release of the year and the follow-up to his 2019 star-studded album, Carte Blanche. The record featured collaborations with ZHU, Eptic, Bryson Tiller, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane and Sheck West, among others.
