Disclosure unveil their new EP, ‘Ecstasy’

The duo release five brand-new tracks.

Disclosure have returned with Ecstasy, their first EP in over a year.

The English duo had teased the project over the course of the week by drip-feeding fans with a new song every day, starting on Monday with the EP’s title track. The project features several samples, including Cameroonian singer Eko Roosevelt’s “Tondoho Mba” (on “Tondo”) and American musician Boz Scaggs’ “Lowdown” (on “Expressing What Matters”).

“We really wanted to try to focus in on those wonderful backing vocals that permeate through the original and give it such soul,” Disclosure said of “Expressing What Matters” in a press statement. “They ended up becoming the focal point of the entire track. Bring chopped and skewed to their limit. The whole thing was one big audio science experiment for us.”

Earlier this month, Disclosure reunited with Khalid for “Know Your Worth.” That followed their previous collaboration with the R&B singer, “Talk.”
