Calvin Harris, The Weeknd release psychedelic “Over Now” video

Harris’ first release of 2020 under his real name.

Calvin Harris and The Weeknd have joined forces on a new collaboration called “Over Now.”

On the smooth retro beat, The Weeknd—aka Abel Tesfaye—sings soulfully about moving on from a failed relationship. “I don’t really care if your tears fall down your face / You know you play the victim every time / I know you gettin’ turnt every night, oh yeah / You girls ain’t shit, tryna get me off your mind,” he croons.

The accompanying music video follows a digital avatar of The Weeknd, dressed in his After Hours outfit, through an ever-changing, technicolor world. Tesfaye flies through space, walks through a mushroom-filled forest and dances at a disco, among other scenes.

“Over Now” marks Harris’ first release of 2020 under his real name. Earlier this year, he released the song “Live Without Your Love” and the Moving EP under his alias, Love Regenerator. Meanwhile, The Weeknd released “Smile,” a posthumous collab with the late Juice WRLD, earlier this month.
