Bonobo releases new song, “Ibrik”

As part of Fabric’s new mix series, ‘Fabric Presents.’

Fabric Records has announced its new mix series Fabric Presents with a new song from Bonobo.

Titled “Ibrik,” the track is a Bonobo standard, featuring a tropical-inspired trip-hoppy melody that blends sparkly synths with light percussion. The nearly-six minute instrumental recalls his atmospheric production on 2017’s Migration LP. “Ibrik” soars and glides over a bouncy synth line before plunging midway into a calm, cool breeze.

Fabric Presents is the follow-up to the record label/nightclub’s much-loved FABRICLIVE series, which concluded last year. This new installment, according to the London-based company, will “reflect the full calendar of nights at Fabric, including the more recent Forms events, new mid-week programming and festival tie-ins; not forgetting the iconic FABRICLIVE and Saturday night parties.”

Bonobo will helm the series’ inaugural release, which will collect 22 tracks from Âme, Titeknots, Dan Kye and more. It will also include an unreleased Bonobo cut, “Flicker.” Fabric Presents Bonobo is out February 22 and available for pre-order here.
