Baauer just wants your “Company”

The “Harlem Shake” hitmaker delivers a more chilled-out banger.

Baauer dropped a handful of singles this year, and recently added one more to his growing list: “Company.”

Co-written by Scandinavian pop up-and-comer Soleima, who also sings on the song, “Company” is a chilled-out, synth pop gem about craving intimacy. “Just want your company,” Soleima repeats on the chorus, her delicate pipes layered over a bubbly beat. There are no crazy drops here like the ones heard on his previous hits such as “Harlem Shake” or “MDR,” but it’s nice to see Baauer experimenting with various production styles.

The drop is accompanied by a psychedelic Jonathan Zawada-directed animation, which features plenty of bizarre robots. Listen to “Company” and check out its video below:
