Axwell drops brand-new track, “Nobody Else”

He also confirmed new Swedish House Mafia music.

Swedish EDM legend Axwell—who’s a member of Swedish House Mafia and one half of Axwell ^ Ingrosso—has dropped a brand-new banger over the weekend called “Nobody Else.”

A leap away from Axwell’s recent offerings with Sebastian Ingrosso, the track recalls some of the producer’s earlier solo efforts. Built around a simple yet effective vocal track, “Nobody Else” shows Axwell’s production skills in full force.

“If I can’t have you, I don’t want nobody else,” a voice declares before the song drops into a classic house breakdown that’s sure to get you moving.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, who premiered the track, the 40-year-old Swede also revealed that Swedish House Mafia will return in 2019. “Swedish House Mafia was this crazy machine that we just fell into,” he said. “I don’t think that we really knew what we were doing, which is also beautiful […] We had to spread our wings, do different things, and now after five to six years, the thought of being Swedish House Mafia again is like, ‘Yeah, this is exciting. Let’s see what we can come up with.’”
