Watch Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow pay tribute to John Lennon

As part of the forthcoming film/album, ‘Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert.’

Blackbird Presents has released a clip of Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Steven Tyler, Brandon Flowers of The Killers and Train’s Pat Monahan performing a heartfelt rendition of the Beatles’ “All You Need is Love,” as part of the upcoming film/album Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert.

Recorded at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in 2015, the star-studded performance was a tribute to the late Beatles member. Monahan and Flowers opened the song before the rest of the crew joined in on the chorus. The line-up also included Kevin Bacon, Kris Kristofferson, Eric Church and Juanes.

“It’s beautiful to see so many wonderful and talented musicians come together for this special show to celebrate John’s birthday,” Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono said in a press release. “John’s art continues to give hope, light and happiness to generations of people everywhere […] His influence is everlasting in everyone’s hearts as we all share in the possibilities and power of music.”

Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert will also feature performances by Peter Frampton, The Roots and Spoon, and will arrive next January. You can pre-order a copy, along with other exclusive goodies, here.
