Margo Price has shared the visual for her newly released single, “Leftovers.”
Directed by Casey Pierce, the video finds Price and her band in a mirrored room as they rock out to the country jam. The Nashville-based songstress also makes various outfit changes, transitioning from sequined jumpers to a white, Elvis-inspired fringe pantsuit. “You can have whatever’s left / I didn’t want it anyway / It was leftover, leftover,” she belts on the infectious hook.
In a press statement, Price mentioned that filming the music video was “so much fun” as she got to “cut loose.” “I smoked a joint and started crawling around on the floor inside the room of mirrors,” she said. Oh, and if you’re wondering about the extravagant costumes, they’re all Price’s own.
“Leftovers” was recorded exclusively for Amazon Music’s Produced By, a series which pairs producers with music’s biggest names. The program has featured the likes of John Prine, William Bell and Al Green.
