Kane Brown was the half-time show performer for the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day football game last Thursday, delivering a medley of his own hits with a guest appearance from Lauren Alaina.
Brown and his band opened the six-song medley, which included “Worldwide Beautiful” and “Lose it,” from a stage in the middle of the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. They were supported by a socially distanced string section, a troupe of cheerleaders and a marching band—all of whom were wearing face masks.
Alaina popped up briefly to sing part of their collaboration “What Ifs,” and as Brown closed out with the explosive “One Thing Right,” the camera panned to enthusiastic fans who had been watching the performance live from their cars and trucks.
As the New York Times notes, the game against the Washington Football Team—which is an annual tradition for the Dallas team—drew 30,048 fans to the stadium. Under Texas’ coronavirus restrictions, the AT&T Stadium is limited to half its capacity of over 100,000 attendees.
