Watch Hailey Whitters’ video for Little Big Town collab “Fillin’ My Cup”

The country artist plays a runaway bride in the clip.

Hailey Whitters has teamed up with Little Big Town on “Fillin’ My Cup,” starring as a runaway bride in its music video.

In the Harper Smith-directed clip, Whitters flees from her wedding, managing to hitchhike her way out to the country where she links up with the members of Little Big Town.

Whitters co-wrote the upbeat track, filled with fiddle and crunchy guitar, with Hillary Lindsey and Nicolle Galyon. “I’d had the title ‘Fillin’ My Cup’ for a while, but then Nicolle had the brilliant idea to turn the lyric into a recipe,” Whitters said in a statement.

“It’s a concoction of all of those little things in life that have a way of making my glass feel half-full. It’s been a hopeful reminder throughout the year and just felt like the right note to start 2021 on.”

On Instagram, Whitters gushed her appreciation for Little Big Town, recalling that the band helped kickstart her career by recording the song “Happy People,” which she had co-written, in 2017. Whitters later included her own version of the song on her sophomore LP The Dream last year. And as it turns out, the royalty checks from Little Big Town’s take on “Happy People” helped bankroll the recording and release of , making their collaboration on “Fillin’ My Cup” a full-circle moment.
