Trisha Yearwood embodies ‘Every Girl’ on her new album

It’s been a long time coming.

Country veteran Trisha Yearwood has released Every Girl, her first country album in over 12 years.

The singer enlists an almost all-female cast of songwriters for the 14-track record, with contributions by Karla Bonoff, Gretchen Peters and Ashley McBryde. The full-length also features a slew of famous guest vocalists, such as Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson and Don Henley. The album also includes the previously released single, “Every Girl in This Town.”

Every Girl is Yearwood’s second LP of the year, following her February jazz album, Let’s Be Frank, which paid tribute to Frank Sinatra. Her last country record was Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love, which was released in 2007.
