Tim McGraw, Faith Hill join Taylor Swift for “Tim McGraw” performance

A performance written in the stars.

Leave it to Taylor Swift to put on a star-studded homecoming show. Last Saturday, the princess of pop returned to Nashville to perform her 2006 debut single, “Tim McGraw”—McGraw himself.

Swift invited the country icon—and his wife Faith Hill—on stage as she started playing the ballad on a baby grand piano. The trio delivered a heartfelt rendition of the song, giving extra meaning to the song’s famous line: “When you think Tim McGraw / I hope you think my favorite song.”

“I’m so grateful to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for coming out to sing ‘Tim McGraw’ with me,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post. “I first came to this city in search of a record deal when I was 11! I’m just as enamored by being here now all these years later. Thanks for an unforgettable night.”
