Thomas Rhett looks back with rose-tinted glasses on “Life Changes”

The autobiographical track is the latest single off the album of the same name.

Thomas Rhett has every reason to love his life. Since he dropped his first album It Goes Like This in 2013, the country star has been on a non-stop winning streak—and he’s just picked the fourth single off his 2017 LP, Life Changes.

“Life Changes” is a catchy, cruisy number that looks back on Rhett’s life, and all of the milestones that have made it awesome. Starting off reflecting on college years spent “majoring in Undecided / Notebook full of bad songs I was writing,” the track covers success, marriage, babies and more.

“It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written,” he said, “but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to.”
