Taylor Swift returns to her country roots with Sugarland collab

In announcing their upcoming album ‘Bigger,’ the country duo also name-dropped Tay-tay, who’ll feature on one of the tracks.

T-Swizzle hasn’t forgotten where she came from.

Even though her last few albums have been 110% pop, she’s still prone to teaming up with her fellow country music superstars to create something special, top the charts and win all the awards. She’s set to do it again, joining Sugarland for a track off their upcoming album Bigger.

The song’s called “Babe,” and although it isn’t out yet, you should expect big things: It is, after all, written by Taylor herself alongside Train frontman Pat Monahan. No word on when you’ll get to wrap your ears around “Babe,” but Bigger is out on June 8.

“The music that we have written, it’s become really clear to me that we are making music that people need to hear right now,” Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles said in an interview. “I think the messages and the themes that are in this music will be healing.”
