Orville Peck has dropped his brand-new EP, Show Pony.

A continuation of the masked country artist’s stellar 2019 debut Pony, the six-track project centers the themes of heartbreak, childhood and pride. “It’s both a look back into the past and a peek into the future. It’s the ‘middle sister’ record y’all,” Peck explained on Instagram. “I wrote and produced and played everything I can on it and did it all while on tour last year!”

Show Pony includes the previously released songs “Summertime” and “No Glory in the West.” It also features the Shania Twain-assisted “Legends Never Die,” which received a dazzling visual treatment.

Directed by Cameron Duddy, the video captures Peck and Twain performing at a drive-in concert before they hop on a motorcycle and ride into the misty night. “Ain’t nothing in this world that I can’t get,” they sing. “Don’t worry ’bout making sure they won’t forget / No it’s fine ’cause legends never die.”
