Rascal Flatts come “Back to Life” on new song

The iconic country trio make their grand return.

Following 2017’s Back to Us, Rascal Flatts have finally returned with a brand-new single, “Back to Life.”

The song—written by Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, Niko Moon and Grammy-nominated songwriter Cary Barlow—is an infectious and soaring romantic ballad dedicated to the women in their lives. “Taking my hand, pulling me up when I’m going under / My dreams come alive when I wake up and look in her eyes,” vocalist Gary LeVox warbles.

“It’s a pretty empowering song for women. To let them know how much power they really have when it comes to being a support system for their husbands,” Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus explained to Billboard.
