Rascal Flatts bring the ‘GMA’ audience “Back to Life”

The iconic country trio take Times Square by storm.

On Monday morning, Rascal Flatts dropped by the Good Morning America stage for a passionate rendition of their latest single, “Back to Life.”

The country trio, which consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, bassist Jay DeMarcus and guitarist Joe Don Rooney, were backed by a four-piece band for the performance. “She puts that beat in my chest / Pounds like a drum, shakes me like thunder / Taking my hand, pulling me up when I’m going under,” they harmonize on the chorus.

The band’s GMA appearance follows the release of a special live edition of their single, which was recorded during a recent concert at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater.
