Mickey Guyton showcases female solidarity in video for “Sister”

“When women support each other, incredible things happen.”

Mickey Guyton has returned with a powerful video for her empowering anthem, “Sister.”

The clip features the singer and her friends, dressed head to toe in gold, celebrating sisterhood while drinking champagne. “Sister, I’ll be your ‘Hell yeah’ when all you ever heard was ‘No’ / I’m your speed-dial call, I’m your late-night cry / I’m your shotgun seat, yeah, I’m your ride or die / Sister, you’re gonna hurt but you ain’t gotta hurt alone,” Guyton sings on the chorus.

“They say it takes a village. Making this video was a labor of love. I’m so incredibly grateful to all of the amazing women that helped make this dream a reality,” Guyton wrote on Instagram. “When women support each other, incredible things happen.”
