Luke Combs has released “1, 2 Many,” featuring iconic duo Brooks & Dunn, from his forthcoming sophomore album, What You See is What You Get.
The song dropped alongside a video with footage of Combs performing the song in concert and recording it in the studio. “I just want to write a song that I feel like my ’90s country music heroes would be proud of. And I hope they would be proud of this song,” Combs says in the intro of the video before launching into the drinking anthem.
Brooks & Dunn lend Combs a helping hand during the song’s catchy chorus: “About half past ten, I’m half past tipsy / And quarter to 12, man I done had plenty / The countdown’s on when the first beer hits me / Five-four-three-two-one, too many.”
What You See is What You Get is the follow-up to Combs’ 2017 debut, This One’s For You. The new record will also include the five tracks on his June EP, The Prequel, including “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”
