Luke Combs has dropped a new EP, titled The Prequel.

The five-track project is the country artist’s first new music since his 2017 debut album, This One’s for You. The EP includes the previously released single, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” as well as slow-burning ballad “Moon Over Mexico.”

Although Combs has yet to officially announce his sophomore album, The Prequel seems to suggest that it’s just around the corner. “I just felt like I wanted to put out the songs that people were asking for and I know there’s some that aren’t on [the EP], which hints that there may or may not be more music coming out later,” Combs said at a recent Q&A session, according to Taste of Country.
