Nashville-based duo Larkin Poe—the sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell—have unveiled their new album, Venom & Faith, via Tricki-Woo Records.
It’s the follow-up to 2017’s Peach, which was nominated for Best Emerging Artist Album at the Blues Music Awards.
Engineered by long-time collaborator Roger Alan Nichols, Venom & Faith features blues guitarist Tyler Bryant on “Mississippi.” It also includes two covers: “Sometimes,” originally by Bessie Jones, and “Hard Time Killing Floor Blues” by Skip James.
Larkin Poe are currently on tour throughout the US until next February.
