Lady Antebellum take their “Champagne Night” to ‘Fallon’

A summer jam from the country trio.

Lady Antebellum performed their latest single, “Champagne Night” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon live from their homes on Monday night.

The feel-good anthem is all about enjoying time at home, with the accompaniment of champagne. Aided by green screens, the group captured that very essence and brought their fun and vibrant song to life with summer-friendly backdrops—which included flamingo floats, sunflowers and a picturesque sunset of Nashville.

“Champagne Night” was presented to the group on an earlier episode of NBC’s Songland, where they eventually recorded the track and saw it soar up to number one on the iTunes all-genre chart.

“We had a blast bringing this song to life for our [Songland] episode,” said frontwoman Hillary Scott in a statement. “We started the process of the song over the winter in a very different time and headspace. But now, with everything going on, it’s almost like that little dose of exactly what I need right now: a light and fun little reminder to enjoy the simpler moments.”

Last year, Lady Antebellum dropped their most recent album, Ocean, which included the title track, “Boots,” and hit single, “What If I Never Get Over You.”
