Kane Brown releases new track, “Lose It”

It’s an irresistible, let-your-hair-down country jam.

Kane Brown might have only one album under his belt, but this up-and-coming country star proves that he’s no rookie. After releasing a series of chart smashers with tracks like “Heaven” and “What Ifs,” the Georgia-born singer’s back with another hit.

“Lose It,” written by Brown, is the first single since his 2016 self-titled debut record—and it’s upbeat and hella catchy. It’s a flirty, country pop track that’s built around a melodious violin tune, which gradually picks up. Once the chorus arrives, everything’s turned up a notch as the drums and steely guitars kick in. “I don’t think you know what you’re doing to me / You got my heart skip-skipping a beat tonight,” he sings.

“I fell in love with this song, it was really exciting, it was really uptempo. It’s one of my favorite songs, so I hope you enjoy it,” Brown said.
