Jason Aldean shares video for “Drowns the Whiskey” with Miranda Lambert

The clip could also be an ad for Jack Daniel’s, TBH.

Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert have teamed up once again to collaborate on another country earworm. Taken from Aldean’s latest record, Rearview Town, “Drowns the Whiskey” is the follow-up single to his chart-topping hit, “You Make it Easy.”

The singer has unveiled the visual to the track and, of course, no one’s surprised that it’s filled with thirst-quenching shots of whiskey. In the clip, the country duo hang out together in an empty bar as they drown their troubles with glasses of Scotch. “Whiskey’s supposed to drown the memory / I’ve gone from one to one too many,” the pair lament on the chorus.

“I wanted to keep the video simple and really let the heartbreak and loneliness come through,” Aldean said in a press release.
