Ingrid Andress shares deluxe edition of debut album ‘Lady Like’

Featuring a collaboration with Little Big Town members and her take on Charli XCX’s “Boys.”

Ingrid Andress has released a deluxe edition of her debut album, Lady Like.

Andress has added five new songs to the tracklist, which has also been reordered. It opens with new song “Feeling Things” and a “reimagined” version of original album cut “The Stranger.”

Other additions include “More Hearts Than Mine” with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman—with whom Andress had previously covered The Chicks’ “Wide Open Spaces.” The deluxe edition also features “Waste of Lime” and Andress’ cover of the Charli XCX song “Boys,” which she served as a co-writer on.

Lockdown prompted Andress to revisit Lady Like, as People reported. “The great thing about quarantine—even though there’s not many great things about it—was that it gave me time to really step back and be like, ‘Oh, cool, look at that album I released in March,’ like, ‘Way to go, you!’,” Andress said during a recent digital press conference. “And then in that same time, I realized that the chapter of Lady Like was not finished.”
