Hailey Whitters lives ‘The Dream’ on her new album

Her first full-length in five years.

Hailey Whitters has released her long-awaited sophomore album, The Dream.

The record, her first since 2015’s Black Sheep, includes all six tracks featured on her September 2019 EP, The Days, and adds six more. Last December, Whitter also previewed the LP with the heartwarming single, “Heartland.”

“To me the record is two parts. It’s The Days and The Dream, and the days make the dream,” she said in a press release. “The dream is comprised of so many of these days that we don’t even realize we’re in when we’re in them. […] I’m kind of old-school in the way that I just want to drop a record, but it is a very unique time to be releasing music right now.”

“I know this record is new to everyone else, but it’s a few years old for me, so I would like to be able to release another song or two later this year from a new project,” Whitters added.
