Florida Georgia Line embrace the fact that “People are Different”

The country duo call for tolerance in new track.

Florida Georgia Line are calling for acceptance and open-mindedness in their new song, “People are Different.”

The accompanying lyric video for the track features photographs of people from all walks of life, with the duo urging everyone to “walk down a street and smile at a stranger / Heart on your sleeve and love thy neighbor / No matter what shape, no matter what color / Break bread instead of fighting each other.”

This new release, along with “Simple” and “Talk You Out of it” from earlier this year, marks the evolution of FGL’s career, moving from the country party anthems of their initial releases to a more stripped-back, folkier sound.

“People are Different” is the eighth track off the duo’s upcoming album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, out February 15. Check it out below:
