Eric Church shares new love song, “Hell of a View”

Hear the fourth single to be lifted from his forthcoming studio album.

Eric Church has shared “Hell of a View,” the fourth single from his upcoming seventh studio album.

Church wrote the new love song with Casey Beathard and Monty Criswell. “This ain’t for everybody, toes hanging off the ledge / Like we got nothin’ to lose / Ain’t always heaven, baby, this livin’ on the edge / You holdin’ me holdin’ you, it’s a hell of a view,” he sings on the chorus.

Church worked on the record in rural North Carolina, where he wrote one song per day for around a month. Though he has yet to confirm details of his new album, such as its title or release date, he’s shared many new songs expected to make its tracklist: “Stick That in Your Country Song,” “Bad Mother Trucker” and “Crazyland.”

He has also performed unreleased songs recently, such as “Never Break Heart” for ACM Presents: Our Country Performance and “Jenny” for Stagecoach Country Music Festival’s digital 2020 StageCouch edition.
