Hold the phone, because it looks like Dixie Chicks might be coming out with a new album soon.
On Sunday, frontwoman Natalie Maines posted an image of a recording studio on Instagram with a question mark as her caption, sending fans into a frenzy as they tried to decode her mysterious post. Shortly after, the vocalist uploaded another photo, which features a shot of her sneakers and two other pairs of shoes, possibly hinting that she’s reunited with bandmates Martie Maguire and Emily Robison.
If rumors are true, this will be the country music group’s first record in 12 years. The ladies have been on hiatus for over a decade after Maines made a controversial statement about George W Bush in 2003.
Dixie Chicks have yet to confirm the news.
