Cassadee Pope readies ‘Stages’ for February release

    It’s the former rocker’s first LP in five years.

    Cassadee Pope is set to make her comeback with Stages, her first album in over five years.

    The country singer has already released two singles from the upcoming 11-track album—“One More Red Light” and “Take You Home”—which is due out on February 1. The former Hey Monday frontwoman will release her new full-length without the help of a major label, marking her first independent release since her 2012 self-titled EP. Pope left Republic Records in 2017, which she signed to after winning season three of The Voice.

    “It’s a validating feeling to look back at a painful moment, and see how I was able to put the pieces back together and come back stronger,” Pope revealed in a press release. “For the first time in my life, I’m confident in the way I navigate things thrown my way, and I hope someone listening finds the same strength.”

    The Grammy-nominated singer is also set to headline the CMT Next Women of Country Tour, which is set to kick off in April. Listen to her latest single, “One More Red Light,” below:
